Leo is a cute little guy with a fabulous personality who is ready to find his forever home. He is a super intelligent dog, who with the right guidance will become an exceptional companion. He loves affection and to play with those he trusts. He is still a young chap who has a lot of exciting living and learning to do! As young street dog, he finds new situations and encountering unknown dogs and people quite frightening; we would like to place him in a home where he has the opportunity to take in the experience of new places at a steady pace. He does travel well in the car, which makes things much easier.

He is a very active dog who needs fun exercise and a good level of mental stimulation for him to thrive, and to see his confidence flourish. He will need a consistent and predictable routine to make him feel safe. He has a bright smiley face and a goofy and adorable trot and will bring a lot of happiness to a new home.

We are looking for an experienced family with a keen interest in training who can work as a team with us and with Leo, to continue his journey and provide him with the environment for him to be his
best self. No children or plans to have children. He needs to be the only dog in home but will be able to have many dog friends outside the home when introduced properly. Flexibility and accommodating Leo’s needs is paramount;
Leo needs an adventurous family, who would find embarking on this journey exciting and rewarding.

Leo has spent far too long in kennels, and we are aware that there will be some challenges. We are of course always here to support our families with lifetime behaviour support by our certified trainer, and we would love to continue working with Leo’s family, celebrating all the wins along the way.
