Tiffany is a beautiful rescue from Romania who has been through a lot in her life and really needs a person or family with a heart for helping a dog other people won't want to help. She came to us scared of the world and has progressed a huge deal snce we have had her.
Tiff loves to play with other dogs now, this took quite some time but now that she discovered this new activity she really gets into it with great joy and love. She also makes us laugh with her little dance and bark around us when she knows it’s dinner time! It’s like she finds her inner confident goddess when the food bowl comes out!
She will eventually enjoy spending her time with compassionate, patient people but it will take some time before any relationship gets to this stage. It will require investment on the part of any family without too many expectations to start. She needs a relaxed person/people who will let her be and she will also need to be with another or other dogs for support. She will unlikely be a cuddly dog but rather a girl who will be there quietly and always in the background. She is a true rescue case who needs people who will put her first and be ok with a dog who does not give a lot back at least initially. We
appreciate how hard it is to find a loving home for a black dog who has been though so much but hope that she will come across a person or family who want to make a very real difference for a dog like her. She hasn’t got a bad bone in her body just a lot of insecurities and worries about the world.
Our beautiful little princess could also quite the escape artist so her people will need to accept that she is not a dog who will be able to be off lead entirely unless within an enclosed field or garden and security will need to be very good.
Tiffany loves to go for walks and has great lead walking skills! She is good at the vets, allowing herself to be handled with ease.
What she needs:
A calm environment in a quiet, urban setting would be ideal. Tiffany can feel over-stimulated at times and has trouble coping with loud noises, hyperactivity, or numerous distractions. Because of this, small children just aren’t for her, and an adult-only home would be best. She’ll be grateful for a new, well-socialized (preferably male) doggy sibling willing to tolerate her quirks!
NOTE:
All our dogs go on home trial for two weeks before an adoption. We offer post adoption support for the life of our dogs, helping with behaviour training and all other aspects of having a dog.
We always discus in full details all our dogs’ needs, behaviours, medical status and requirements with our families from first contact. We are passionate about matching our dogs with their perfect homes and vice versa, this is our commitment to our dogs and our families.
