Our Dogs...

IMPORTANT NOTES: Only families have who been homechecked AND who have an appointment with the kennel team within the following 2 weeks to view a dog will have priority viewing on their first choice.

Also, whilst some dogs may not be showing as 'Reserved' on the website, they may already have interest. If the dog you are interested in ends up not being the one for you, don't be disheartened, we have many wonderful dogs coming into the rescue regularly and the right friend will be out there for you, as this has proved to be the case time and time again with families who have adopted from us.

My name is:

LOCATION: Waltham Abbey, Essex
Zina will need the commitment of a number of visits for her to bond with her new family.
She cannot be homed in a family with children due to her insecurities.
She must be adopted by a family who already have another dog or dogs
Zina was born in July 2015 (her age is approximate). She had a difficult start to life. She was brought to a Romanian public shelter by dog catchers before being taken into a private shelter and into our care here in the UK with her siblings.
She is still a youngster who is developing and progressing. Zina is unsure about things and people unfamiliar to her and needs a patient and calm home, to help her gain some much needed confidence. We are only looking to place Zina in a family with an existing confident dog, which will help her settle enormously.
She loves playing with her friends and is also very interested in treats, which should be of great help for training. Zina enjoys zooming in the paddock with her friends the most, and she mixes well with other dogs.
While Zina's new family will need to be committed and understanding of her insecurities, the reward of helping a dog like this lovely girl, who will develop into a wonderful dog with the right guidance, will be very fulfilling. She has so far never had anything of her own, other than her bed at kennels, she has never lived anywhere but in shelters in her short life and helping her discover what life has to offer, showing her the world outside of a shelter will be a very special experience as our other families who have taken on youngsters like Zina, can testify.
We are not looking to place Zina in a family with children as we feel she needs a quieter home to progress. This girl is not a 'ready-made' youngster, but she is a dog who will appeal to the real rescuers of this world, committed to giving a home to a poor dog who has so much yet to discover of what this life has to offer. We feel that Zina's true nature is a real gem waiting to be discovered.
Zina will need to be visited a number of times before her going to her new home. We have found that this works incredibly ell for families adopting dogs who need to time to make a connection with strangers. Once in the home she will bring her family much happiness. She really needs the stability of a forever home to progress, and whoever is lucky enough to commit to the experience, will enjoy a fabulous relationship.
