Our Dogs...

Important Notes

You may not see the right dog for you on the selection below, but by all means do send us an application, as we always have other dogs coming in, and very often, not all our dogs feature on the website.

Only families have who been homechecked AND who have an appointment with the kennel team within the following 2 weeks to view a dog will have priority viewing on their first choice.

Harrison is a fantastic boy who sadly lost one of his front legs. He was found by our partners, running across fields in Brasov, Romania with a very damaged leg, which the vets could not save.
This has not hindered him in any way. He is actually one of our most content dogs, he has a really solid and sunny personality. He would fit most households as long as they were able to give him time, attention and the exercise he needs. This is not a dog, who because of his disability, will be ok with short walk or less walk. He will be able to do a good 40 min to an hour at a time and will enjoy it. Harrison also needs people who are physically fit as he might require help getting in and out of the car at times.
In terms of his personality he is great fun, good with other dogs and tolerant of handling. He is a very intelligent dog and will enjoy stimulation and games.
His personality would make him a good candidate to be a therapy dog potentially as some of our dogs have trained to become with their families.
His family will need to be very mindful of his weight which must be kept in check. He cannot afford to be overweight with a missing front leg. He will also need to be rehomed in a house that is carpeted or where there are rugs. He would find a wooden floor more difficult to manage.
From a grooming point of view, his requirements are regular grooms to keep on top of his lovely hair!
Harrison needs people whose lives revolve around their dog, physically fit and willing to take him on nice walks. He will be a joy to live with, he can be a single dog or share. We are unsure about small furries at this stage, but we are not sure that it will be a marriage made in heaven, so preferably no cats. If you have children, they will need to be 10 years old at least.
