Hello

My name is:

Faye

LOCATION: Waltham Abbey,Essex
Multiple visits over several weeks.
No children
Faye is a beautiful dog who has been in a home for over a year and has come back into rescue through no fault of her own. Faye as you can tell from the picture, is not only very beautiful but incredibly endearing. Unfortunately Faye does find new situations, new people and sometimes other dogs, difficult to cope with. She does very well in a routine, safe with the people she knows and the dogs she socialises with. She does not do well with new situation and would need a very stable life. She is very wary of people she doesn't know, so we are looking to place the lovely Faye with a family who is able to meet her a number of times before adopting her. This may be anything from 5 to 10 times, maybe more depending on the individual. With the people that she trusts, she is the most amazing dog in the world. She is incredibly loyal, she responds well to training and is a joy to spend time with, but there is no saying how long it would take for Faye to get there with new people, it totally depends on their energy. We are not looking to place Faye with other dogs as she is very choosy with other dogs. She has a few besties, who can do anything with her but we have found introducing her to new dogs difficult, any new dog would have to have the magic touch with her.
Faye is actually a very playful dog who loves her walks and activities. She has a very warm and loving personality, she just needs an understanding home who will give her the time to blossom in a new environment. The key to a successful adoption for her will be patience, an undemanding environment and a commitment to visiting her numerous times and of course a little bit of chemistry. If all of this happens, we can honestly say she is one of the most incredible dogs you will ever meet and the relationship will very rewarding indeed. Families who have adopted dogs with similar natures and who have required the same commitment have had fantastic experiences and we find it that they are some of our families who always have lovely stories to share. It is worth it, if you are in a position to help a dog like Faye. If you feel you are able to give her the kind of home she needs, please contact us via the enquiry form. She will bring much joy and happiness to whoever takes her in.
