Our Dogs...

Important Notes

You may not see the right dog for you on the selection below, but by all means do send us an application, as we always have other dogs coming in, and very often, not all our dogs feature on the website.

Only families have who been homechecked AND who have an appointment with the kennel team within the following 2 weeks to view a dog will have priority viewing on their first choice.

Bradley is a very sweet senior dog who has spent a lifetime in the street and the last 3 years at a shelter in Romania. We really feel for him and would love to see him settled in a home, as all dogs deserve to be. He is a little shy at first but soon comes around. We know that his confidence will grow once adopted. He has spent a few days in a home with one of our lovely volunteers and he did ever so well. He was clean and enjoyed his walks. He was a bit cautious about being in a home, everything was new but we don't believe it will take long for him to get used to a comfy home.
His ideal home is a relaxed adult only home (we never place our senior dogs with children) who enjoy giving him lots of love and take him on a couple of walks a day. He will be a brilliant companion. He just needs a little patience, someone who will let him come to them in his own time.. which shouldn't be very long. He is very easy to have around, he's just a gentle soul who needs to be loved for the rest of his days. No small furries for our Bradley though. He would be ok sharing with another calm dog.
This is what Trish, who had him a couple of days said:
'Bradley Is a lovely, sweet gentle old man, very clean in the house and will 'ask' to go out to the toilet. Although he is very timid at the moment (he runs for the garden when you approach him), if you offer him your hand he will come to you. He spent most of his time in the kitchen (he felt safe there with the kitchen door open) but also likes to know where you are and if he loses sight of you he will come and look for you. He so wants to be loved but finds it hard to relax but he will sit and let you pet and fuss over him; he enjoys pottering about the garden, lying in the sun and a couple of walks (up to 25 mins), a day and has discovered squirrels are fun to 'chase' or in Bradley's case, trot after. It's been lovely having him and hope to take him home again soon.'
If Bradley could find a little place on your sofa, please fill in an enquiry form and the team will get back to you.
